Many thanks to Tim for hosting a great visit. It's so interesting to see what the competition is up to. I was very impressed with the level of detail taken in building the station.
During the discussion, a question was raised about two rigs per band. Here's some history from a classic MM station.
The enclosed link to the PVRC website shows some photos taken by N3CW during contests in 1969 and 1970 at W3MSK/W3AU.

The SSB set up was S-Lines. On CW, it might be S-Line but a lot of it was the Collins 32V-1 (2 or 3) transmitters and the 75A1, 2 or 3 receiver. The receivers were modified with Collins filters. 160 was the Viking Ranger and a R-390.
It was great to meet everyone, and to reflect on the state of the art over time at MM stations. Tim is following in the footsteps of W3AU and K2GL who essentially invented the MM category. I think Ed and Buzz would say "well done!"
