Not many MRRC/NCC guys heard/worked. Off the top of head, W2FUx3,
NA8Vx2, single QSOs with W8CAR, KT8K, K9NW, W8TM. Heard K8GT while
tuning.
Headed home (in Atlanta tonight), should be around more after a month
being basically gone from Ohio.

Comments:
After spending a week visiting a family friend in Sarasota, I spent
Saturday
with my sister in The Villages. While there I was able to throw a 14
foot wire
over a small tree and fire up the KX3/KXPA100 to make some QSOs on
20/15/10. No
Es openings to speak of, the loudest signals on 15 were from TX or CA.
Spent some time operating through local T-showers around 2300z, but
with a 12
foot high antenna I wasn't too worried.
When the rest of the family went to bed, I replaced the 14 foot wire
with a 33
foot one (same three radials)over the same 15 foot tree and proceeded
to work
40 meters.
Best QSO of the weekend: while CQing on 15 I got a call from a rather
loud
K2PS, Pete in FL. I looked him up on QRZ.com and discovered he lives
about 2
miles from my sister. So I sent him an email, he called me back, and
then
stopped by with his XYL for a very pleasant eyeball QSO with all of us.
