Hal,
Great job with the new website. Really like it. I noticed that the email
address that was listed for me was way out of date so here is one that is
correct. < wt8c at arrl.net>.
Thanks very much and best wishes to all for the holidays.

Subject: [NCC] New NCC Website
Everyone,
Well, I intended that last message to go to Tom and I didn't realize it
would go the group. So the cat's out of the bag, so to speak. I was
planning to make an announcement in a couple of days anyhow, so here goes.
What I said to Tom goes for everyone. In a couple of days, we will replace
the old website with a new one which will be a lot easier to work with and
update. I'd really like it to become a resource for the club members that
actually gets used. When you've done something that might be of interest to
other members, please send me a short news item
and/or photos which I will post as a news item or as a photo gallery.
This could include new antennas, a DXpedition, a M/S, a mobile operation, a
notable contest score you are proud of, a new operating desk, anything.
Pictures should be jpeg and not too fat. Please shrink to reasonable size
(100) kb should be enough).
A word about the roster. It is pretty much what I inherited. Some email
addresses are missing, I suppose because that was the request of the person
involved. There is an argument for having no email addresses at all.
Opinions welcome. If you don't want your email address to show, let me
know, and if it's not there and you want it to be there, let me know that
too. When I get time I am thinking of putting in everyone's city and state.
Our members are doing some impressive things. There's no reason why we
can't have a couple of hundred photo galleries which would make the website
very interesting to members and non-members alike, so start forward those
pics and stories to me (hopefully everyone won't respond tomorrow and knock
out my email account).
Suggestions for using the website are welcome.
73,
Hal W1NN
