I must have worked around 20 NCC/MRRC members. Really good activity
from the clubs. It was especially nice to W2FU operating remote from
Florida.

Comments:

Remote from my apartment in Tokyo. I got on at 8AM Sunday (6PM EST) and stayed
on 1807 calling CQ for the first 5 hours. The rate gradually fell off to
almost zero. I got a lot of newspaper reading in. Only worked one California
station and no WA/OR although I did hear N4XU once. Only EU heard was EI4 but
he wasn't hearing some of the KW stations calling him so I didn't spend any
time trying to work him. KV4FZ was really loud and easy to work. NP2X called
me (thanks!). P4/DL6RAI was pretty loud but he couldn't hear most of the
stations calling him. QRN I suppose. Activity was sparse compared with the
ARRL 160. I like grid squares. It's fun to watch the gridsquare map in
Win-Test fill up and to see where the station you are working is.

Happy New Year everyone.

73, Hal W1NN
