Lots of NCC/MRRC folks heard on 15 & 20. Some heard on backscatter on
10.

Hal, W1NN moved me up from a S&P qso on 15m. Unfortunately I couldn't
count it for a JA mult, though I later did get a couple of JA's on 15.

Stay warm!

Jim

Comments:

KX3 and a quarter wave vertical sitting in the edge of Sarasota Bay in
Sarasota,
FL.

The first day I used the WinKey, paddle, and paper logs. Sunday I
decided to go
with the computer for as long as it would go (I didn't bring a car
supply to
Florida), so about 3+ hours on Sunday morning followed by lunch & tennis
with my wife while batteries charged, then more time in the afternoon.
Sunday
morning there was significant line noise, though with QRP if a station
is not
loud, they rarely hear me. so it didn't cost me much. In the afternoon
things
were more quiet.

A different sort of fun vs. operating from a big station, but missing
all the
cold & snow up north has been worth it!
