[NCC] NCC meeting at K8AZ last night- brief update

Thanks VERY much to Tom, K8AZ for hosting the 26th Annual K8AZ open house
and NCC meeting. 

 

Please let me know if I forgot to log you in my mental log sheet. Those I
remember seeing around the AZ shack:

 

N8ARD, KK8D, K8ZT, N8DMM, K8MR, N8TR, K8AZ, W8CAR, W1NN, W3YQ, W8WWV, WT8C,
ND8L, W3IQ, N3SD, K3LR, W8WTS, W3TX, K8BL, K8CX and WB8K.

 

WT8C gave a summary treasure's report as prepared by KQ8M

 

Several reports about NCC contest activity were given. All NCC members were
recognized for their significant score contributions during 2013.

 

Business approved:

NCC will sponsor new RTTY plaque awards

NCC will continue sponsoring CQWW and ARRL DX plaques

NCC will fund its share of the 2014 Dayton Super Suite

NCC will help with additional WRTC2014 funding (with match) if needed.

NCC approved a memorial donation in memory of Jerry, K8RA.

 

Anthony, K8ZT has been approved as a new NCC member - he is an outstanding
QRP contester,

 

K8AZ was thanked for his YEARS of service as NCC Club President. Also thanks
to Tim KQ8M for his help with the treasury and website.

 

Special mention of congrats to Tom, K8CX who recently was awarded the YASME
award for his dedication to Amateur Radio.

 There will be a Summer NCC meeting and open house - Early August - Saturday
- at K3LR.
