I missed working many members and those I did work were very weak. My only
six-bander was with K8MR - thanks Jim. I never even heard N8SS and many
others.

At one point on 80 I called W8WTS three or four times but he couldn't hear
me. Then 10 minutes later when I was CQing he called me.

Congrats to K8MR for a FB score. Jim's score nearly matched N8AA's 2013
record, but John had a couple more contacts so his record should stand for
at least one more year. It's a shame that John had to cancel this year due
to family matters. It might have been a real contest between John and Jim.

I was hoping to at least go over 200,000 points but my mult was too low, as
usual. I'm pretty happy with the Q total but I need to do something about
multipliers. Looks like I missed a lot of mults on 10 and 15 that others
found.

Comments:

Good rates and good participation throughout. QRN on 80 was a bummer and
made
operating there real work. I thought 160 might be worse but it actually
seemed
to be better. Too bad about 40. It sounded good early on but someone threw
a
switch and it went very long. How many contests are there where you make
more
contacts on 160 than 40?

Ended up with nearly 200 more contacts than last January when I was
operating
remote. It really helps to have two radios in this contest.

Not remote in JA for a change
