Hi Jim,
Congrats on your WRTC2014!! I don't know which 1x1
you were, but I got them all a couple times, so I'm sure
I wrkd you & Mike.
Please register me for W1AW/8. CW would be my preference,
but I could do RTTY, also. I'd do SSB in a pinch only. Any Band
at any time is OK, but not during OhQP.

Subject: [NCC] W1AW/8 Scheduling
,As you likely know, W1AW/8 is coming to Ohio on August 20 (8pm EDT
Tuesday 8/19).
The scheduling process will shortly be opening, at the MRRC web site
www.madriverradioclub.org
The schedule is now shown there. To reserve slots, you will need to be
registered in order to log in. To be registered, send me a request by
email. Include a phone number where you can be reached while operating,
to be able to reach you should issues arise in real time. I will
register you manually and send you a notice when I have done so.
Today I will be on the road, leaving the WRTC hotel site this morning
to pick up my wife on Cape Cod and then off to my daughter's in NJ.
Therefore it will take some time to get back to you. On the other hand,
the initial group will get their first crack all at the same time.
The relevant band/modes during the Ohio QSO Party on Saturday and
Sunday have been blocked out. They are not yet assigned; I will be
looking people and stations to fill those slots. I have some ideas on
ways to do it, but I am open to proposals. One thing that is certain is
that W1AW/8 will not be eligible for normal awards. I will have more on
W1AW/8 in OhQP later.
I'm looking forward to us all having a lot of fun with Ohio's part in
the ARRL's Centennial celebration!
73 - Jim K8MR
