Comments:

Still enjoying snowbird status in Florida. I once again took the KX3 
out to a
small park overlooking Sarasota Bay on Sunday morning. Antenna was a 
MFJ whip
plunked down in the edge of the water. I was pretty happy with the 
results,
especially on 10 meters.

While sitting there in a beach chair a few feet from the antenna, a 
fellow
walked up and asked if I was catching anything. Sure, I replied, I've 
caught
Ukraine, Croatia, Poland, Germany, etc. Not what he meant - he thought 
the
antenna was a fishing pole, and was wondering if I had some extra bait 
he could
use.
