Station has been apart since July 2012.  Finally got it partially put 
together, enough for a ssb contest, anyway.  Sure miss
the big stacks at the AZ station.  MY tri-bander at 55 ft just does not 
compare.>

Congradulations to all the NCC operators who took part in this test.  I got 
tired of hearing K3LR, N8TR, ND8L, W8CAR beat me out
in pile-ups.
1.   Felt that 10 meters was the best band, long openings all over the 
world.
2.  Missed the 75 meter opening Friday night.  Went there but found that my 
antenna was set for the CW band.  Not usable for SSB band.
     Sat morning went wading thru the snow to drop  the ends and open the 
knife switches so it would tune the SSB band.  However did not
     see the amount of DX that was there on Friday night.
3.  Had several power outages Saturday evening and night which encourged me 
to quit and get a good night sleep.
