[NCC] RFI from Inverter Technology Air Conditioning

I'd like to hear from anyone who's had experience with inverter technology air conditioning. 

A new split system a/c has been installed at the PJ2T house. When running, it essentially takes out 20 Meters with S9 noise.

The specific item is:  Westinghouse 18,000 BTU split unit air conditioner, Model WCHXD3-18E4A.

The on-site team is attempting to isolate the source of what appears to be radiated emissions. 

If this is a "characteristic" of this a/c technology, it may become a widespread headache as this more efficient a/c technology becomes widespread. 

I was at PJ2T for CQ CW in November. 20 was the only band impacted.
