[NCC] Fwd: NCCC Sprint K8MR QRP

Heard nothing on 15 right before the start so went to 20 to start. 
Nothing there - I was starting to panic thinking that maybe the thing 
still started at 9:30 local after the time switch. But then after about 
2 minutes guys started showing up on 20.

Took about 10 trys over several minutes to finally catch Hal's 
attention on 40. W8WTS (20M) gets the award for the only guy who called 
me  :-)

Comments:

My last week of providing a weak signal copying challenge from Florida. 
Next
week is my wife's birthday, and the following week I should be en route 
back to
Ohio.

This time, in an effort to be a bit less not copyable, I did plug in the
external battery for the KX3 and cranked it up to 12 watts. But 
operating from
my car in the condo parking lot with a couple of wet noodle antennas, I 
still
consider myself QRP.

Good to get a clean sweep of the Ohio home boys (KW8N, W1NN, and W8WTS) 
on 20
meters, plus NN on 40.
