Hi Everyone,

Rough totals for my suitcase expedition to SV9:

QSOs: 1746
Prefixes: 694
Score: 2,132,662

K3, vertical and G5RV

The score is about the same as last year when I operated from France. About 235 more contacts this year, but thunderstorms in Europe raised noise levels on the low bands and killed rates there.
.
Nice to work K8BL on three bands. Thanks, Bob! I also rember working W8MJ, WT8C and K3LR, maybe a couple of others. When I worked K3LR, he was real weak, so it's amazing that I got through at all. He was much stronger later. I heard ND8L towards the end on 20 but he was S&Ping. There didn't seem to be that much activity from NA, even when the band was open, but I was surprised to be called by a lot of strong JAs on 4 bands.

I've been without Internet until an hour ago, so no way to post anything. If anyone needs a contact with SV9, let me know immediately with a suggested frequency and time, and I'll try to get on. I'm QRV on all bands, but too much noise on 160 and 80 will be a stretch. I'm only here for 2-3 more days. Sorry, CW only (no mic).

Whe I get time I'll post more details in a 3830 report.

73, Hal W1NN
