I missed Ohio! Only MRRC/NCC worked were K8NWD and N8SBE. Not many more
were heard.

Next contest, tentative plans to do the CW Sprint from K5KG. I may
listen a bit for an Es opening in the VHF SS next weekend.

Comments:

This was a pleasant exercise in minimalist contesting. I operated QRP
from a
waterfront park bench on Bird Key in Sarasota, using a KX3, hand mike,
an MFJ
whip wedged into a sea wall, and logging on paper. I got myself and the
entire
station there via bicycle.

As always, a lot of very copyable people could not hear my QRP signal,
but the
loud ones did. I had one respectable run on 15 when I tuned across a YL
op
telling her pileup she had to QRT, and apologizing for not being able
to work
everybody who was calling. So I jumped in and started CQing, logging
about 20
QSOs before things dried up.

I would have liked to spent a bit longer, but had to QRT to get home
before
dark. All in all, a very nice way to spend a sunny, 70F afternoon as a
Florida
snowbird.
