[NCC] Ohio QSO Party - One Month Away!

A reminder that we are exactly one month away from the 2015 Ohio QSO Party - Saturday, August 22, noon to midnight EDT.


I hope you are making your plans to take part. This year, with five full weekends in August, we have a contest weekend almost all to ourselves - the Hawaii QSO Party and a contest run by the Brazilian army are the only other contests that weekend. The Kansas QSO Party, SCC RTTY Contest, and YO DX contest are all the following weekend (this year - next year back to lots of competition). So it should be a special one.


I'd especially like to extend invitations to those in nearby states. Mobile activity, as always, is greatly appreciated. There are lots of nice roads down here with lots of good counties to activate.  We do have a rover category, which can be especially good for those who don't like to operate while moving. (Fixed antennas are allowed, so you can also be louder than a ordinary mobile when you are parked).  Or we can try to match you up with a good Ohio fixed station.


Activity from outside Ohio of course is very welcome.
