Gentlemen,

Please relay to your respective home clubs the good news about the ARRL selecting the Orlando Hamcation for their 2016 National Convention, and the Contest Dinner and Contest Forum on Friday night and Saturday morning organized by the Florida Contest Group. Questions can come back to me directly.

Though our ticket apparatus is not yet in place to take orders for the 2016 Orlando Contest Dinner, we're pleased to announce that the ARRL has decided to hold their 2016 National Convention during the Orlando Hamcation (see http://preview.tinyurl.com/oxewryv for more info).

In addition to the normal activity around any national convention, FCG is sponsoring specific events that will appeal to contesters. On Friday night, the fifth annual Orlando Contest Dinner will feature the rhetorical stylings of N0AX . Make plans to attend and enjoy our wonderful buffet dinner, free 807s, and a world-class speaker.

On Saturday morning, make plans to catch the Orlando Contest Forum on-site at Hamcation.

Come enjoy Central Florida in February, and put up your snow shovel for the weekend. If you're thinking of heading to the Caribbean for ARRL DX CW, Orlando is a perfect place to stop on the way.

Look on CQ-Contest and the other usual outlets for additional information about reserving tickets in the next few months. Any preliminary questions can be directed to me.
