Comments:Since this wasn't on a Memorial day weekend thought I'd give it a
try! The weather made it seem like a correct decision Lots of fun and the
bands were pretty good. Exception being 10 meters-there were stations to
work but not much. Late in the day on Sunday (4ish) I worked two E7
stations-no other EU heard @120 degrees on the beam. The band was open
stateside but no one was home generally speaking. Had fun on 40 with a clear
freq. at 7012 with lots of EU calling in. Found out the HI-Z array is great
on 40 for storm static and also lets you hear guys off the back of the beam.
15 was the money band but had more prefixes on 20. Did lots of S and P but
runs were usually very good or S-L-O-W ! It is fun to watch your score grow
in this one-at the end a mult was worth about 6k and every Q was at 800-4800
points depending on location. Lots of weird prefixes and some guys sent 400
WPM so made it hard to copy. Worked PA/W1NN-have to ask Hal if a)he bought a
station in PA,b)was operating from JA remote or c) was there on business-he
gets around! Also worked Jim K8MR using the NC8C call. Don't remember if I
worked other NCCers.

Have a good summer NCCers! GO CAVS!!!!!
