It was optional straight key/bug night.  I did better than I expected 
given the straight key handicap.  The XYL heard all of the tapping and 
wondered if some animals had got in the house.

I called K8MR twice on 40 but he ignored me.  I guess he thought I was 
some lid using a straight key.  (He was right.)

It was a fun reminder of Novice days long ago.

Comments:

It's been a long time since I've been on a straight key.  Lots of fun, although
I wouldn't want to do a 48 hour contest this way.  It would be a lot more fun
if everyone was using a straight key.  Please read the weekly announcements!
