[NCC] NAQP CW Teams

Greetings Contesters!

Holy Cow, it's almost August!

To contesters, of course, this means NAQP CW!  It is a week from 
Saturday (August 6).  It's a really fun, fast-paced event.  Last year 
722 stations submitted logs.  You can work a station on six bands, so 
there is almost an unlimited pool of stations to work.

Once again I will put together joint teams with our Mad River Radio Club 
friends for the NAQP CW team competition.  Last year 81 teams competed 
in the team competition and our top team came in fourth.  In the recent 
past several of our teams have placed in the top ten.  On a relative 
basis, stations from our part of the country usually do better in the 
August running of NAQP than in the February contest.  Let's see how well 
we can do this year.

The November/December 2015 issue of NCJ has the results of last year's 
contest.  Don't miss the picture of the crew at W2FU showing several NCC 
members.  The guys operating at 'FU can't be on our teams, but W2FU 
dominates the Multi-Two category and we're mighty proud of them.  Last 
year they had 1,904 contacts!

Please let me know if you can operate and whether you will be full time 
or part time.  I will put together the teams and register them a couple 
of hours before the contest.
