Hi Tom,

How long is "long"?  Does it always happen?  Do you post using the same 
address that you are subscribed with?  Have any of your posts ever 
simply disappeared, or is it just that they are late in showing up?

You are subscribed to the mailing list in the same way that everyone 
else is.  There is no "approval process" or anything like that for 
individual messages so posts should be reflected back to the list right 
away.  Occasionally I get late messages from a variety of sources and I 
have never heard an explanation as to why this happens.  Obviously they 
get hung up somewhere.  I assume that this happens to a lot of people.

If you post something and don't see it hit the list, try posting again.

If you like I can unsubscribe you and then subscribe you again.  I don't 
know if that would help but I can try.

Maybe someone else here who really understands how this stuff works can 
give a better explanation?
