Hi Dan,

That was one hell of a system of storms. Watched it come across all
afternoon -- fortunately most of the cells missed Chesterland. (I've been
using the WeatherUnderground "Storm" app. Amazing stuff .....)

One cell did get here, and had one Flash-boom and another MUCH louder one
that sounded like a huge bomb went off. Absolutely deafening. I had that
sinking feeling as I walked down to the shack, fully expecting to see some
bad signs .... but so far -- nothing visible. (All the antennas were
grounded at the copper panel,, all the control cables were grounded at the
panel. and all the a/c was disconnected from the radios.) I haven't had
the radios back on yet, but will take that step soon. Needless to say, I
have a sense about how devastating your loss must be.

Keep in mind that I have a spare power supply for the Mark Vs. Not sure,
but think you can use that to bypass the p/s in the MP (although it might
be that all you need is 12VDC.) Lots of other spares here -- Astron
supplies, etc. -- so let me know if there is anything you need from here.
I could even meet you half way (since Jill lives in Westlake, it would be a
two-fer for me.)

And if you need to borrow a radio for OQP or something, "me radio su
radio". (Shhhh! Don't tell MR!) Please keep me posted on your progress
-- here's hoping it's a couple of fuse things or some stuff that is easy to
repair.

OH ..... and don't forget to call your insurer. Lightning hits are
generally covered.

73,
t
