Not one of my better accomplishments as I was off by over 500,000 points
from last years CQWWPH.   I really thought the bands sucked, but maybe it
was just me?   Granted, I was really trying to work 80 as much as I could
as I only need 8 more countries for my 5 Band DXCC.   I sincerely doubt
that out of the countries I worked on 80 that there were 8 that I needed as
they all seemed to be the same as usual.....have yet to look.      How I
would love to have a 40 meter beam but unfortunately sufficient real-estate
is an issue.      Was actually a bad weekend for both my 40 and 80 inverted
V's which are normally more than adequate.   10,15, and 20 were ok with the
beam, but not awesome as in the past.    Very depressing to hear people
working qso's that I couldn't even hear.....  So I don't know if it was
just meant to be a crappy weekend at K8LY, or what?       Hopefully we do
much better in CQWWCW next month..
