[NCC] NCC Dues Holiday and WRTC 2018 Contributions

At the annual NCC meeting at K8AZ's on Saturday, January 14, 2017
two important financial items were discussed that those of you unable
to attend should be aware of:

1.                            NCC will have another dues holiday in 2017.  However, those of
us who wish to make a voluntary contribution may do so by sending
a check payable to me.  My address is:  504 East Liberty St.
Hubbard, OH 44425-2168.  Please mark your envelope "Personal."
Please know that I have made it a policy not to track the voluntary
contributions.  For those of you with inquiring minds, the check is
made payable to me, since NCC does not exist as a legal entity and
without a taxpayer identification number cannot have a checking
account due to Patriot Act restrictions.

2.                            Regarding the NCC sponsorship of a tent (or tents) for the 2018 WRTC.
It was agreed by the membership that NCC would pledge to sponsor
at least one tent at this time.  The cost of the tent is $1,000.00 and
it would be sponsored in the memory of Val, W8KIC.  We are hoping
that each NCC member will contribute what they can to WWROF and
in turn, NCC will match each member's tax deductible donation up
to $500.00 for the W8KIC tent.

If donations exceed $500.00, NCC will also match those until the NCC's
matching share of donations totals $1,000.00.  If you guys donate another
$500.00, we will sponsor another tent in the memory of John, K3TUP.

I would ask that when each of you send a check to WWROF, you would
notify me by e-mail so I can track the amount NCC needs to match.  I will
keep the names of contributors and the amount of their donations confidential.
However, as of January 17, 2017 two NCC members have contributed a total
of $125.00.

If you choose to donate by check, please make the check payable to WWROF.
Make a note on the front of the check that your donation is for the WRTC 2018
North Coast Contesters Tent.  That's very important.  You don't want your check
credited to NCCC, do you?  :)

of your contribution.
