Hi Everyone!

I think most NCC members are aware of the Thursday night NS contests,
because some of us who participate post our results here. NS stands for
Northern California Contest Club Sprint, and they are held for 30
minutes every Thursday night at 10:30 PM in the summer and 9:30 PM in
the winter (0230Z Friday morning).

The speed of these little contests tends to get pretty fast, so some ops
may hesitate to participate. If you've wanted to join in but thought
the speed was too high, this Thursday night is your chance to try out
the Sprint format at a slower speed. The session this week will be run
at a maximum speed of 20 wpm in hopes of attracting some new ops.
Please see the information below and try your hand in this fun event.
You might find that you like it!.

20 WPM NS FOR FRIDAY, June 23,. 0230-0300Z

Our recent threads on whether to conduct a slow speed NS was in the main
favorable. So here goes:
This week, will be at a rate of 20 WPM. This is a trial session to
encourage potential newbies to NS to operate
with the Sprint format at a lower CW rate. Please consider inviting a
potential NS op to this 20 WPM evening.

Note that we be be posting our 20 WPM session invite on the CW Ops
reflector.
Newcomers to NS are always welcome, so please join in.
