[NCC] CQ magazine

Jon,

For the last several months (at least) CQ has been coming on the last week
of the month for which it's dated -- making 30-50% of its content already
outdated.  (It's clear that the magazine is written to go to press well
before the cover month begins -- but the speculation is that CQ is having
difficulty funding the cost of mailing the magazine to its subscription
list -- and that's a big part of the delay.)  I did not expect to see the
September issue until late last week, so the fact it has not yet arrived is
not really a surprise.

A good place to check on delivery is the DX Engineering site.  Often they
get a shipment before the mass mailing goes out.  So, if DXE doesn't have
the current month, then you should not be surprised you don't either.
