There is also at least one add-in boom mike available. Pricey but integrated. Uflymike

They also worked in the car this past weekend with no problems - something the old Heil Proset did not like, with all the RF floating around (loud clunks listening to my own signal).

I kluged together a mount which sort of held it in place, but I found I had to push it the last inch to get it close enough to my lips for full modulation.

The issue I had over the OHQP weekend was wires breaking in the cable where it attaches to the headphones, right in the connector that is referred to as a 6 pin mini XLR. (I probably tugged on it too many times.) Fixed the right ear (red wire) Friday night. But never checked the microphone portion again until the OHQP had already started. Started on CW but later when went to phone had no mic function. The white wire was broken, so found an old pair of headphones only and operated CW with those while fixing the Pro 7 mic wire. (Never did put the shell back on the cable end, in the interest of time just taped it to microphone boom as a "strain relief".)
