[NCC] CW Rookie Roundup

This afternoon is the ARRL Rookie Roundup, CW, from 1 pm to 7 pm EST.

I'm sure this will be a bit slower paced that most CW contests, but it should be a good chance to check out and help out our newest crop of CW ops.



In particular, keep an ear out for N8EV. Ryan, until recently KE8IVY, is a neighbor (a mile away) who's been working at CW and contesting since getting his ticket in February. He has the #3 rookie low power claimed score in CQWW CW, with just a low dipole outside. 



I'll be checking it out for a few hours before heading out for other engagements. Hope you can get on and pass out some QSOs to the newcomers as well!
