Gentlemen,
For a change, the following message is not ARRL governance-related. Please mark your personal calendars and encourage your fellow club members to attend the 2018 Orlando Contest Dinner on February 9. Only $25 per ticket for a buffet-style bbq dinner, free 807s (and soda and tea), and a chance to win one of our fabulous prizes.
Our speaker for 2018 is John Dorr K1AR. John does a great job running the Dayton Contest Dinner every year; we're letting him take off his tie in Orlando when he provides the keynote address.
Information on specifics (how to order tickets, location of the dinner, etc) can be found at http://floridacontestgroup.org/2018-orlando-contest-dinner/
I look forward to seeing many of you at the 2018 Orlando Contest Dinner! Please forward this message, along with your enthusiastic endorsement, to your contest club reflectors. And, if you're trying to decide whether it's worth the time to attend, just consider that the high temperature at my house today was 75 degrees.
vy 73,
Chris WF3C
President, Florida Contest Group
