Lots of FCG guys worked. Not so many NCC/MRRC folks, but being a high band contest that was not surprising.

After six months of operating from the Florida condo with hidden antennas, local noise, low power, etc., it was a pleasant switch to push F1 (or the enter key) and type in other peoples info. It was not a serious effort, so little time spent looking around for other folks, new multipliers, etc. But people did come to me, including getting called by JT5DX.

The fifteen and ten meter stuff was rather like a VHF contest. On Saturday had some apparent 15 meter E skip into Europe - VO1BQ and VY2TT were booming at the time, a good first hop. There were also some that may have been F layer stuff. On Sunday the only EU were a handful of very top tier guys. I did have fun working lots of stateside scatter on 15, plus a lot of Florida buddies via 10 meter E skip.

No low band operations on Friday night, but 80 and 40 were very noisy on Saturday. Heard a few EU guys calling, but just too many nearby thunderstorms to make it worthwhile.
