It's recently been announced that FRC agreed to provide funds to the
following project.  Since waiting until our annual January meeting would
cause us to miss the boat, I thought that it would make sense for me to see
if there is interest in supporting this project through NCC.  Seems like a
worthy cause for NCC to back: sponsor travel for a group of young
enthusiastic contesters to operate WPX SSB from K3LR.  Another way for NCC
to attempt to support efforts to reduce the lack of young contesters:

If there is agreement for support, we can try to raise funds for a club
donation by NCC through an "extra" voluntary dues payment to NCC Treasurer
ND8L for this purpose.  (Ray has already volunteered.)  The overall goal
would be to generate $200 to $400 "collective" dollars.  If it does not
appear that we're able to do that, we'll simply encourage individual
members to donate on their own.

Thoughts?  Left over funds will go to another YOTA project.
