To find me - listen! :-)
As in listen for the weak QRQ CW signal, hopefully the one with a big pileup.
I plan to try an 80 meter CW appearance from every county, using 3545 during the daytime. (Other mobiles will hopefully using that frequency as well).Likely won't hang around there for more than a minute or so if there is nobody to work.
If I don't have a huge pileup and signals are good enough, I can easily QSY to SSB - ask. Planned SSB QSY frequencies are 3800, 7130, and 14151. QRM of course can affect those choices.
If we're close enough, and I'm not crazy busy, I can likewise QSY to the higher bands (20/15) and maybe even 10 meters. On ten I'm just force feeding the Hustler system, so signals will be less than on 15.
I also try to spend time on 20 meters from each county to help out those far away guys in Florida and elsewhere, so I will likely not be heard in Ohio while up there.
Hope to work lots of you, both early and often!

Hi All,Any recommended ways to find Jim and the other mobiles floating around Ohio?I have used the http://ch.w6rk.com/ site.Is there something better? Perhaps a way to have the moibile's call, county and freq sent over some other source (like a group text)?Maybe as part of ohqp.org. Can mobiles/rovers spot themselves?
