[NCC] Raffle to benefit WWROF Youth Programs

As some may be aware, last summer I won a new Icom IC-9700 VHF/UHF/1.2GHZ
radio from DX Engineering at the DXE Hamfest.  The radio currently lists at
$1648.95, with a $200 instant rebate (net: $1498.95 net).  This radio is
new and in the box.  Shortly after I won it, I informed the World Wide
Radio Operator Foundation (WWROF) Board that I was donating the radio to
WWROF for use in its programs to benefit young contesters.  Unfortunately,
WWROF has not been able to put the radio to use in that regard, nor is the
organization interested in conducting a raffle itself, and so I am now
raffling the radio off to the highest bidder (subject to a reasonable low
bid amount known only to me), with all proceeds going to WWROF.

This will be a "sealed bid", one-shot process, with the highest bidder
getting the radio, and 100% of the bid amount going to WWROF.  (In other
words: bid once with your best bid.)  If you're coming to the January 4
K8AZ open house, you can pick up the radio here.  If not, I'll ship it to
you and donate the cost of the shipping.

Please submit bids to me via email.  Bidding deadline will be NOON, EST, on
JANUARY 4, 2020.  I'll announce the winner (and the winning bid) shortly
after that time.
