Thank you and the North Coast Contesters for sponsoring the winner's plaque that was received today for the 2017 CQWW DX Contest - SSB SOLP.

 

I operate here without any towers and with what most would say are humble antennas.  I've got what is proven to be a pretty good hilltop location and favorable terrain. Low Power operating is not always easy but I've been able to finish in Top-10 fairly often, and to my knowledge I've never been beaten by anyone having more fun contesting than I!!

 

As you in NCC help new hams discover the fun in our hobby and in contesting in particular, please feel free to mention my operations as an example for them that good results can be attained without necessarily having the biggest, newest, latest & greatest station.

 

I've just recently moved to the HP category and I'm aiming at Top-10 results there too.

 

Again thank you to the NCC for sponsoring this plaque.  I appreciate it very much and I look forward to hearing you all on the air again this fall.
