[NCC] 160 Meters in SS?

Well, since I lost TWO of my antennas in last night's wind storm, I'm down
to only my End-Fed LW. At least it "tunes" well on all Bands. So, 160 works
fairly well on it and I'll check the BandMap to see if folks actually show up
there. Hope a fair number of you hear/work me.

I don't think a scheduled time is in order. We may have worked enough close in guys earlier, etc. But rather than sitting there cursing the crummy conditions on 80 meters, push the 160 button and try a few CQ's.
The Thursday night NS bunch uses 1815 as their preferred frequency, which seems like a good suggested frequency for 160.

Maybe pick a time slot to see if there's any interest ?

Subject: [NCC] 160 Meters in SS? Propagation on 40 and 80 in tonight's NS Sprint was . . .   terrible. Close in guys like NA8V and W9RE were weak on 80, and even W8WTS 15 miles away had a bit of skip flutter.

I wonder if 160 might be a useful option should we have such crummy propagation in SS. If that happens, I'll be giving it a shot. You may want to keep that option in mind.
