Missed WV, and for a while was sweating WPA! And not many MRRC/NCC folks in the log, likely due to them being in my skip zone.
Another section that had me worried was SFL, until N1TO showed up to cover that one. But lots of WCF and NFL in the logs.

Comments:
I was able to convince my XYL to stick around Ohio long enough for me to do my
SOMS (Single Op Multi Station) effort in SS (as well as get a good part of the
fall yard cleanup done, and spend an extra week or two with our one year old
granddaughter). It was only a three station effort this year with AC8E and N8TR,
which was just as well because now we have the final packing to do before the
snowbird migration begins on Tuesday.
I did something I have never done before in SS: operated on 160. With the
expected long skip on 80 materializing, I went to 160 around 0215Z and had 16
QSOs, the same number as I had on 15! The rate wasn't exciting, but no worse
than what I was having on 80 at the time. Six of the QSOs were single digit
numbers, so I infer that these guys were not serious SS ops but rather just guys
hanging out who were happy to hand out a SS QSO.
Overall I never heard NE. Single QSO mults among the three places included AK,
PR, WTX, and NL.
Starting over every six hours or so definitely makes for a more interesting
weekend. The ARRL rule about one station/one call/etc. certainly needs
revisiting to allow more folks to enjoy being a new guy and having new guys to
work.
And once again, thanks to my hosts, and to all who take place in this classic
event.
