Comments:
This was in the no-digital category. A human brain was used in decoding all
transmissions. 25 of the QSOs were on CW.
Zzzzzz. Only one Es QSO, N5RZ on Sunday afternoon. Caught K4BAI fading in and
out of the noise, but never was able to confirm the QSO.
Two meters was low power, 10 watts or so, using a recently acquired XV144 in the
K3 rather than the previous usual IC-746. I could have completed a few more QSOs
with the extra power, but the ease of interfacing and use of the P3 panadapter
made things nicer. Did see lots of blips, some pretty strong, on the 2M Funny
Things frequency, but I doubt those folks ever crossed over out of the digital
modes.
