Could we have a reply from anyone who will be contesting or just passing out Qs in this weekend's CQ WPX SSB?
Yes, we are all preoccupied with the pandemic. I hope everyone is, and will be, safe and healthy.
Yeah, it's a SSB contest. But, it is strangly gratifying to see how many odd call sign prefixes you can work, like our club call that I will be using, NC8C (with blessings from K8AZ).
So what do you say? Try it, you might just like it. Turn off the TV for a little while and turn on the radio! Give us crazy WPX guys some Qs please, 160 through 10 meters, starts at 8 pm ET Friday and runs until 7:59 pm ET Sunday. Exchange is simply signal report and serial number. See cqwpx.com for the rules. Logs in by Friday, April 3 at 7:59 pm ET.
I think it's okay to try to have a little enjoyment, even during these difficult times. See you on the bands.
