Hello to all,

Last month Dan Street, K1TO suffered a severe fall while working on a tower near Macon, GA.

It was my good fortune to become a personal friend of Dan during my time living in FL. He opened up many doors that allowed me to meet many fine ops and great people. During our families tragedy of 2007/2008, Dan was first in line to offer help. 

I hope that the contest brotherhood will likewise step up and assist one of our best

Dan Street K1TO, who served for 18 years as FCG president, suffered a critical injury in early August while working on a tower in Georgia. After extensive medical treatment in Georgia, Dan was recently moved back home to Florida and hopefully will make a complete recovery.
As Dan is self-employed, the medical and legal expenses continue to mount. The Florida Contest Group is accepting contributions from Dan's friends to help ease these expenses.
If you know Dan and value his friendship, we would ask that you consider contributing to this fund which will be administered by the FCG. 100% of the funds raised will go to Dan and Mary Ann to cover medical and other ongoing expenses.
To contribute, you may send payment by paypal to fcg at kw1k.net. Please use the Friends & Family option if possible and note in the memo area that your contribution is for K1TO so that we can ensure that we credit the correct account. Your contribution is not tax-deductible and therefore should not be considered a charitable deductible.
