Comments:

The NJQP would not be a reason to visit NJ, but my daughter in Montclair is. I
set things up at her house - a HamStick for 20 and a 33 foot wire with a mag
mount on my car in her driveway. Two QSOs in the first ten minutes did not
inspire me, though she is in a noisy urban setting. So I tried from a park on a
hilltop in nearby Passaic county with somewhat better, though not exciting,
results. With not much activity I decided it was not worth the trip to Hudson
county.

After dinner I plugged away from the house, but still nothing special.

I'm looking forward to better results in the Pennsylvania QSO Party in a few
weeks.
