[NCC] Reminder: NAQP CW in Three Weeks!

Happy Holidays, Everyone!

This is a reminder that the NAQP CW is coming up on Saturday Jan 15.  
This is a fast-paced contest with great activity.  The duration of the 
contest is 12 hours and SO and SOA ops may operate up to 10 hours.  
Stations may be worked on each of the six customary HF bands.  See the 
rules and past results on the NCJWEB website.

The separate team competition is very competitive and makes this contest 
even more fun.  Teams consist of between two and five operators.  I will 
again register joint teams from MRRC and NCC, so if you plan to operate, 
please let me know and I will put you on a team.

Note that there have been some changes to the rules.  The main one is 
that there is now a single op assisted category. Previously, if you used 
assistance, that put you in the multi-single category and your score 
could not be counted for a team.  That is no longer the case and scores 
from both SO and SOA will count towards a registered team score.

I'll start whipping, hounding and begging in January.  In the meantime, 
mark your calendars, notify your families not to plan anything for 
January 15, and enjoy the holidays.
