The Southwest Ohio DX Association has given this annual award to N8AA, 

John Comella.  It is given to "the SWODXA member who exhibits those 

traits that Frank Schwab embodied.  Frank was a co-founder of the 

Dayton HamVention and founder of Dayton Sky-Warn... a topflight 

contester and CW operator."  Awardees must show operating ethics and 

courtesy, station activity, observance of FCC rules, contribute to the 

club and amateur radio in general, have a good attitude, etc.

southwest Ohio 10 years ago.  An accomplished operator, including on 

CW, he has also opped from 3Y9C, St. Paul Island.
