Comments:
Due to the malfunction of my remote switch, I can't access my 160
antenna, so I
had to use my coax-fed 80 meter dipole. My K3 tunes it pretty well but I
hesitate to operate like this for very long, so I gave myself exactly
one hour
to see what I could do. Pretty amazing what can be done with such an
antenna.
It probably helped to be fresh meat on Saturday night.
I think I could have done even better but for the problem I was having
with my
CW. The speed kept changing by itself and I could not control it. It would
jump from about 23 to 38 wpm and back again. Not sure if the problem is
in Win-Test or in the
Win-Key that's built into the RemoteRig. I never had this issue before.
I hope
that a reboot will fix this annoying problem.
