Thanks for use of the club call! I don't recall working any NCC members, though maybe some were hiding behind fancy callsigns.

Comments:

Thanks to the North Coast Contesters for allowing the club call, NC8C, to take a
trip to Florida for spring break. We did not make it to the beach, but did spend
some good time at the K8MR/4 Condo Superstation, a K3 and an 80M OCF up about 45
feet at the center.

Nearly all S&P, but for a nice run of USA on 7239 on Saturday evening, and a
smaller run on 15M on Sunday afternoon. I never bothered to figure out the
"Spot Me" feature, which might have helped running a bit.

I'm trying to figure out if there is something with my speech - though mostly
the call got through, if it did not, it always came back as NC6C, and usually
took a very long time to correct.

It was good to pass out a likely unique multiplier, and I certainly kept at it
longer than had I been just another K8.

And does WPX stand for the Witness Prote X ion Program? I wonder who was hiding
behind all those funny callsigns, just as I was hiding behind NC8C.

Hope to catch a lot of you in the Florida QSO Party in another month.
