Going from a tri-band antenna at 73 feet, a 160 meter dipole and running 
an amp....to now a Cushcraft R6000 vertical mounted 3 feet off the ground
and a G5RV 30 feet high, at 100 watts, there isn't much enthusiasm to 
operate. Got started around lunch time Saturday and was surprised
that almost everyone could hear my 100 watts. Working China 3 times and 
Thailand twice on Saturday and having JA's answering with no signal strength
on the meter was like someone pinch me, is this real! It was, LoTW 
confirmed it today. Wasn't able to get back on until Sunday afternoon 
but road the chair till the end.
I remember propagation like this in the early 2000's with heavy 
participation but the ARRL DXCW 2024 is the best I've seen. If you 
didn't operate this contest,
you missed something special. Looking to see big scores and new records.
