Hi all,
Does anyone know what the "designated center" of the NCC eligibility circle is? It seems that at some point ARRL changed its radius from 175 miles to 250 miles..guess I must have slept through that change.
Sorry that I wasn't able to attend the meeting on Saturday at K8AZ so that I could have asked in person.
Happy New Year!

With regard to our discussion last night concerning the ARRL club
competition:
4. Club Territory Definition
4.1. A club's territory is defined as: A single ARRL Section, or an
Eligibility Circle with a designated center and a radius (250 miles) .
4.2. Distances for individual stations from the designated center are
calculated from center-to center of the six-character grid locators.
Entries from Single-Operator and Multioperator Stations:
5.1. To claim a Single Operator score made by a guest operator at a host's
station, the operator must meet membership and residence requirements for
the club and the station must be located within the club territory. The
owner of the station does not need to be a member of the club claiming the
score.
5.2. Scores by Single Operator stations located outside the United States
and Canada may be counted for Medium or Unlimited Clubs even though the
operation is outside the club's territory, provided all other eligibility
requirements are met.
5.3. Scores by Multioperator stations, regardless of the station's location,
may be counted for Medium or Unlimited Clubs even though the operation is
outside the club's territory, provided all other eligibility requirements
are met.
5.4. A portion of the total Multioperator station score (after log checking
is completed) will be distributed to a club that each operator declares. The
club must be active in the ARRL's Club Eligibility listings
(contest-clubs.arrl.org/viewlists.php), and the operator's call sign must be
included in the club's eligibility list. Upon upload of the station log at
contest-log-submission.arrl.org, each operator's score can be attributed to
a club of their choosing. Each eligible operator's portion of the total
station score will be calculated based on the total score divided by the
number of operators.
