Greetings from the Valley of the Shadow of K3LR...

Still no effective presence on 80/40...that's a summer project,
but the 2 element quad worked well for my part-time effort:

20 Meters ........ 183 Q's / 76 Mults
15 Meters ........ 145 Q's / 52 Mults
10 Meters ........ 7 Q's   / 5 Mults

Claimed score:  133,464

Time on:  approximately 11 hours...

Heard WT8C, K8AZ, K8BL, N8TR and K8NZ...and of course,
K3LR.  

The 10 meter opening Sunday was really weird...I worked
the weak stations easily...like a 599-005 LU...but the loud
stations just weren't hearing me.  The other funny happening
was an IZ3 who asked me to spot him...just as I WAS spotting him...
he didn't get the phrase completely out and said thanks...
just as my spot popped up on his screen.

This Internet stuff still amazes.

The N1MM software worked very well...and the roofing filter on
the 'MP...doesn't make it an FT-2000...but it sure helps.
