[Nodxa] Ohio QSO Party - This Saturday!

As DXers, we can appreciate the fun of being on "the other end" of the  
pileups, with people looking for us. 
 
This Saturday we get, in a small way, that chance. The Ohio QSO Party,  where 
the world (including Ohio) works Ohio, is this Saturday, August 25, from  
noon to midnight EDT. I hope a lot of NODXA members will be on to take  part.
 
The OQP includes a competition among Ohio clubs.  If you are not  already 
planning to compete with another local club, get on and submit your log  for 
NODXA.  I will be out mobile, and barring problems will have a good  score to 
contribute to NODXA.  With some more good efforts, and we can be a  strong 
contender for the club plaque.
 
NODXA also sponsors a plaque for the top DX station in OQP.  Help  provide 
those DX guys (and everyone else) with some activity. 
 
 
Just exchange a qso number and QTH - Ohio county, or for others state, VE  
province, or "DX".  80 though 10 meters, SSB and CW.  Full info  is at the OQP 
web site,   _www.oqp.us_ (http://www.oqp.us)  .  I can also answer  questions, 
offer advice, etc.
