Subject: Ham Radio Equipment

Hello,

I searched the ARRL Web site for local amatuer clubs and of course the
Northern Ohio DX Association was listed. I'm trying to find someone who might
be interested in taking a look at some old equipment that I have as I would
like to get the gear up and running again.

It's all Heathkit tube equipment. A DX 40 and an HR 20 receiver. I have
a Heathkit power supply for the receiver, just not sure anything works though.

QST ran an article about my Dad and me about 3 years ago and and
mentioned old, and current, rig. Recently QST contacted me asking if I ever brought
the old equipment back to life as they wanted to do a follow-up article.

I was wondering if anyone in your club likes tinkering with equipment
that would be interested in looking at, what once was, my original novice
equipment from 1966. If that person helped got everything running again, I would
like to mention them in the QST follow up article.

Let me know if anyone in your club has any interest. Hope to hear from
you soon.

BTW, here's a link to the article that the editor of QST posted on the
ARRL Web site:

And a link to a related story about QSL cards:
