Dear Ohio ham club members,

I am a fifth-year engineering Ph.D. student at Carnegie Mellon in Pittsburgh.

I have some radio gear for sale and I would greatly appreciate your
passing this along to the members of your club. If your club has an e-mail
reflector, please forward this to it.

All proceeds will be put towards my graduate school expenses, and all
buyers will receive a copy of my transcript, showing that I'm an excellent
student (3.73 GPA).

All items are from a NON-SMOKING environment. I can deliver throughout
much of Ohio. Pictures available upon request. Included FREE with each
item are one Yaesu world map and one Icom world map.

Thank you so much for your time and efforts!

Sincerely and 73,
Nat WZ3AR

TS-140S HF transceiver
This rig won the Maryland/DC QSO Party several years back. It has the
MARS/CAP mod, so you can get on 60m (TX/RX from 50KHz-35MHz). Also has
that great Kenwood SSB audio. Includes: YG455-C1 500Hz CW filter
(installed), hand mic, power cable, R.S. ext. speaker w/box (cat. no.:
21-549B), set of K8FF "Finger Dimples" new in the package
(http://www.fingerdimple.com/main/page_fingerdimple.html), Kenwood
keychain, manual, schematic, and QST product review. It is in excellent
working condition, except that I believe the display frequency is slightly
off (i.e., a display frequency of 14.199.95 is actually a true transceive
frequency of 14.200.00), but you quickly learn to account for this.
Cosmetically: faceplate is very good, some wear and small scratches on the
top and sides.

PRICE: $350

Collins 30L-1 "Winged Emblem" HF amplifier
10-80m (w/o WARC). Four 811A tubes. Comes with Collins instruction manual
(in excellent condition). Wired for 110V, but can be rewired for 220V.
Works fine except that the PTT is stuck on. I think this can be relatively
easily fixed, but haven't gotten to it. So, just to be safe, this is sold
*AS IS*. Cosmetically: the case and faceplate show some wear, and there's
white paint on the "on" side of the power switch, but free of major
defects.

PRICE: $300

PRO-26 handheld scanner
200 channel. 25MHz-1.3GHz (w/o cell). Includes: new set of batteries,
leather case, two rubber duckie antennas (4" and 6"), belt clip, and R.S.
mobile antenna mount (model no. unknown). Cosmetically: very good to
excellent (only some slight scratches on case, but the keypad and display
are excellent).

PRICE: $125
