A reminder to all that the June ARRL VHF QSO Party is this weekend. It runs
from 2 pm EDT on Saturday to 11 pm EDT Sunday.

This is the very best time of the year to check out what VHF can do,
especially on six meters. Reports of good skip from all sorts of areas this
evening have been reported.

If you have a rig with six but no real six meter antenna, don't give up. 40
meter antennas, in particular half wave dipoles, will load up on six. Lots
of tribanders will take some power. Or build a six meter dipole (117
inches total will be pretty close) and get it up at least 20 feet or so. But get
 on!

SSB activity starts at 50.125 and goes up from there. 50.100 to 50.125 is a
DX window (we always hope!). Especially when the band is open, there can
be good CW activity just below 50.100.

Exchange grid squares.

Hope to work lots of you!
